In recognition of the Spanish Hawaiian Heritage Association hosting the 2025 International Cultural & Academic Conference at UC Davis many government officials across the US sent letters of commendation. They wrote their appreciation of the association's efforts to keep Spanish/Hawaiian historical information alive by bringing together scholars, cultural leaders and descendants to honor the legacy and contributions of the Spanish Hawaiian Immigrants.
