Event features the documentary " Pasaje a Hawaii 1907-1913". In 1907, the SS Heliopolis, the first ship of emigrants, left the port of Malaga bound for Hawaii. Later, five more ships would leave with nearly 8,000 more people, almost all Andalusian. A salary, a house and future American nationality were the promises in exchange for working in the sugar cane fields. More than 100 years have passed and those first Spaniards are now thousands, perhaps millions. For this reason, the new generations are reuniting with their old families and with the places that those first pioneers left behind, to try to reconstruct their history.

The event will also feature a performance by Flamenco Guitarist Albert Marquez and a silent auction.
